Status host Raghad Almakhlouf speaks with Syrian actress Hala Omran about her career in film and projects with Syrian refugees in Beirut.

Syrian actress, graduate of the acting department at the Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts in 1994.

Hala worked in theatrical performances such as "Separation from Hell" and "Hallaj" and "Adonis" directed by Amal Omran. In addition, she has worked on  several performances outside Syria in in other languages then Arabic, French and English with directors such as David Boube, Marcel Bouzounieh, Mehdi Dahabi and Sulaiman Bassam.
Hala worked in cinema with the Syrian director Osama Mohammed in the Box of The World and with the Egyptian director Yusri Nasrallah in The Door of The Sun.
