 Syrian archaeologist and director & co-founder of MEDMAK, a Syrian Archaeologist Studies Center.

Mostafa Alskaf is a Syrian archaeologist and director & co-founder of MEDMAK, a Syrian Archaeologist Studies Center. Currently, he is pursuing a Master's degree in History of Art and Archeology at Université libre de Bruxelles (ULB). In 2010, He graduated from the Department of Archeology, Damascus University and started a master's degree in Classical and Islamic Archeology. Since 2007, Mostafa participated in multiple archaeological missions in Syria such as the Franco-Syrian mission in the Dead Cities of northern Syria (2008 - 2010), in addition to the excavations in different sites in Lebanon. By the end of 2013 and due to the massive destruction in the Syrian cultural heritage, Mostafa co-founded the "Syrian Archaeological Study Studies Center (MEDMAK)" as an independent documentary research center. In 2014,he participated in several training programs for culture management organized by the Al Mawred Al Thaqafy in Tunisia and Lebanon. Mostafa was a member of Med-Culture program and recently he became a member of the Young Experts Forum on the Safeguarding of Syrian Cultural Heritage.
